Not views, but unique views. See what is the difference
100 views is currently a ballpark figure. It will increase when the traffic in the PicRush network increases. So you can expect that a click will be worth many more views in the near future.

If you find a offending blog avatar which shouldn't be displayed in the category of your PicRush then please post a message or send a email to: twan (at) picrush.com
A blog avatar represents your blog on the PicRush. The PicRush displays a maximum of 5 blog avatars.
You have to make sure that your surfer is attracted to the picture that is on your blog avatar. Cause when the surfer is attracted to it the avatar will attract his interest and he might click it. When he clicks it he will surf to your blog.
If you for example have a Babe blog then you can use a picture of the hottest babe you can find on your avatar.
Maybe you can even add some text with your blog name.
Please note that the size of the avatar is only small (64x64 pixels) so make sure that it is clear to everyone what your avatar represents.

Of course you can add text to your blog avatar. Try to use a pixel font. A pixel font is a really small font that is readable at very small sizes. For example:

This font is called 04b21. Good settings for this font are size: 6 and text in UPPERCASE and non-bold.

Simply said: No.
The links on PicRush are links generated by javascript in a way that can't be seen by search engines (SE). This means that a SE won't see PicRush at all.
This is a good thing, cause a PicRush might contain a blog which has a lower ranking then yours. If SE's would see these links your SE ranking might decrease. This luckily isn't the case with PicRush.
PicRush is mainly and solely for traffic.

Because PicRush is very new there aren't yet a huge amount of blogs in the network.
In addition PicRush is still in the testing and fine tuning stage. This means that we are still fine tuning everything to see how we can increase the traffic to your blog.
I would recommend you hold on for a while, the traffic will increase when the PicRush network increase and the fine tuning is done.

It is possible that that you have build up credits but your blog avatar isn't shown on the PicRush enough times to let your credits drop a little. This can be caused by the fact that you have chosen a category with little or no other blogs.
You can wait until another blog joins your category (your credits won't expire, so you will be in saving mode) and when your category gets more busier your blog avatar will show up on the PicRush almost constantly.
You can also move your blog to another similar but more busier category.

It is possible that your that the blog avatar of your own blog shows up on the PicRush on your own blog. This should happen less when the blogs in the chosen category increases.
But don't worry when it happens, cause it won't decrease your amount of credits in any way.

If your PicRush doesn't look good on your blog then try to make it look nicer. Try for example to center it:
<center>[picrush_html_code]</center>
Or center it and give it black borders:
<div style="background-color: #000000;"><center>[picrush_html_code]</center></div>
Your imagination is the limit.

During the fine tuning stage over 100 blogs were added to the 'Bit of everything' category. After the fine tuning stage the other categories were opened and now everyone will choose the right category for their blog.
This means that you might be the only blog in the category for a limited time. But that should soon change when more and more blogs join PicRush and your chosen category.
But don't worry about this, because you will build up credits and when more blogs join your category you will have a nice amount of credits already.
If you still not like the idea, then try looking for a similar category that has more blogs. Join that category (and don't forget to change your PicRush HTML code on your blog).
If your PicRush only shows the PicRush logo and not your enabled blog avatar, then please wait a couple minutes, within 15 minutes your blog avatar should appear.

Because the blog avatar is quite small (64x64 pixels) and there is some compression a every blog avatar might not look perfect. Here are a few tips to make a better blog avatar:
- Use a program like paint shop pro, photoshop or any other image editor.
- Try to upload a image that is exactly a square.
- Use your image editor to resize the image to 64x64 pixels.
- When you upload a image larger then 64x64 pixels it will be resized to 64x64 pixels by our script.
- When you upload a image equal or smaller then 64x64 pixels it will not be resized (usually the resize quality of our script is not top notch)
- When you save the image in your image editor apply little or no compression.
- Try applying a sharpen filter using your image editor, this might make the image more clearer.

As you know you are rewarded with X unique views of your blog avatar on the PicRush when someone clicks the PicRush on your blog. The term "unique views" can be best explained with a example:
Person one surfs to a blog and sees the frontpage, that is 1 view. Now he surfs to 20 pages within a small time frame. The total pages the surfer viewed is now 21. But the number of unique views is only 1. When the person leaves the blog and comes back after 30 minutes and surfs to 10 pages the number of unique views will be 2.
So the number of unique views is not equal to the number of pages a person views. It is equal to the amount of unique visitors most statistic programs and website counters view.

When you do not place the PicRush near the top of your blog then you are required to enable the option 'I have not placed my PicRush near the top of my blog' (on the 'Blog change' page).
This option will decrease the value of the unique views your blog generates. This is to compensate the difference between a blog that has PicRush near the top of the blog or not near the top of the blog.
In general it is recommended to put the PicRush near the top of the page, simply because you will receive a credit when someone clicks on the PicRush. When you put the PicRush somewhere at the bottom of your blog you will likely get no clicks and no credits at all. And without any credits your blog avatar will not appear on the PicRush on other blogs.

You should never attempt to cheat.
But when you do then your PicRush will be replaced with a advertisement.
But when you do then your PicRush will be replaced with a advertisement.
That is a good question, it can have many causes:
- Check if you have Enabled your blog.
- Check if you have added the PicRush html code to your blog.
- Check if the visitors of your blog are able to click on the PicRush, cause when no one clicks on your PicRush then you will not get any credits/rewards. And when you don't have any credits your blog avatar will not likely appear on the PicRush.
At this moment the PicRush is regenerated quite slow, but this will increase when more and more blogs join PicRush.

At PicRush you are rewarded if a surfer clicks the PicRush. The reward for 1 unique click is that your blog avatar is displayed X times on someone else PicRush. When that someone places his PicRush at the bottom of his blog then the chance that a surfer clicks your blog avatar on the PicRush is very small. When that someone places his PicRush at the top of his blog/sidebar then the chance that someone sees and clicks your blog avatar is much higher.
In addition when you place the PicRush at the bottom of his blog then the chance that someone clicks it is really small, meaning that you will get a very few or no rewards.
